God has blessed my life over and over. So this year, in his name, I’m giving my birthday up.

I’m turning 32 on April 16th. Instead of gifts this year, I am asking everyone I know for $4 (month of my b-day), or $16 (day of) or $32 (age). All of it (100% - Credit Card company has agreed) is going to build freshwater projects for people in developing regions.

For all of my church youth members, I will match every penny you give that you’ve worked hard for to support the water projects (Hence, it should be worked / earned $’s =), not from parents. I used to deliver flyers, do chores, worked odd jobs parents proposed to earn keeps. What’s your idea? Your idea will save a life!

Almost a billion people in the world are living w/o clean water – if so, are they really living? 30,000 people will die this week alone contracting deadly diseases from contaminated water. The lucky ones won’t die, but they’re still walking hours each day to get dirty water for their families.
