Dear friends,
As some of you may know, I have made some big decisions in 2013: I left my job, I decided to leave NYC and most worryingly, I chose to sign up for the Miami Olympic Triathlon which takes place on 7th April.
After seven years of taking my body to its limits in the bars and clubs of New York, I thought it only appropriate to reverse the damage by training for this race, which will consist of a 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike and a 6 mile run.
charity:water is dear to me, and this Summer I will head to Cambodia to help build wells with one of their partner organizations. Raising $7500 can bring clean water to 375 people. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
