My 30s have been my best decade yet! I quit my comfortable job, sold most of my possessions and moved to Hawai'i with two suitcases.

Lived ‪#‎hilife‬, lived ‪#‎lalife‬, built SLAQR, met so many beautiful and talented people, fell in love and started my own little family.

On 11.22, I turn 40!

I've been wondering what to do to celebrate and the only thing that feels right is to dedicate my birthday to charity: water.

charity: water's infrastructure is awesome and that's why I chose them. 100% of public donations go straight to the field. Let me repeat that. 100% of public donations go straight to the field - building wells and helping communities in developing nations get clean/safe drinking water.

The other amazing part is we are able to track our donations using Google and charity: water's GPS infrastructure. We will literally be able to see photos and receive details of the community we help several months from now!

TOGETHER with the help of you all, we can bring clean/safe drinking water to so many people who need it - people no different than you and me. That's my kind of birthday party!

My goal is to raise $11,227.50. I think that if there's ever a time to be grateful and give back it's on a birthday, and 112275 is my DOB.
