People die without water, let’s try to save some lives.

I’m in a place of wealth and privilege - I have everything I could possibly want. Because of that every year on my birthday I try to convince friends, family and strangers to help raise some money to provide safe and clean water for people in desperate need.

It’s been wildly successful. So many people have helped and given and each year we effect so many lives. It’s such a huge deal to me, to know that rather than giving me something the people around me are giving to something much more significant.

Every year my family also matches the total donation. It’s not always easy, but I love the idea of giving away a chunk of money each year to people who deserve a chance at health and life. I believe deeply in restoration and rescue and I want to participate in that as much as I can.

Give, please. Any amount is great, but I’m defaulting to my age because there has to be a number. I’d love the chance to be a part of this with you. xo.
