July 3rd is my 52nd birthday...want to help me celebrate?

It all started at a missions conference I attended in Miami in February where I first heard about charity:water. I learned that almost a billion people in the world are living without clean water -- millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. Women and children must walk hours each day to get dirty water for their families. And I buy water in plastic bottes for convenience!

So, my birthday wish this year is not for gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion people living without it. My goal is to raise $5000, the cost of one well. Won't you join me in this effort? Since I'm turning 52, I'm challenging everyone to give $52 or more. Together, we can help an entire village! (Of course a donation of any amount will help us reach our goal!) Please view the video (at right) to see how water changes everything!

The best part: 100% of all donations go directly toward water projects. And about 18 months after this campaign ends, charity: water will show us where and how every dollar we raised ended up helping in the field. We'll see GPS coordinates, photos and more details about the community we've impacted.
