On October 25, I'm turning 46! Is that possible???It is!!! And how is it possible? Because I have enjoyed 46 years of clean water.
Millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
So, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before! I'm asking for $1 for every year you've enjoyed clean water from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $1000 by my birthday, October 25, or at least by the end of the campaign, December 31.
UPDATE: If you donate $46 or more I'LL BAKE YOU A PIE!!! Put what type you want in the comment and I'll contact you to figure out the rest!
Please join me to make this birthday count.
Merry Christmas from Mom & Dad. Thanks you two!!! You're the best!
What a great idea Sue! And pie too? Yum!
Happy birrrthday to you. Happy birrrthday to you. Happy birrrrrthhhday, dear Suuuuue.... Okay, you know the rest. Here's to another 46!
Water for People is one of my favorite charities, I love that you are doing this. Happy Birthday, Sue!
