Ramadan is a time where we strive to elevate ourselves. A time for unity, a time for charity, and a time for action. That is why I am asking you to donate to help me provide the sustenance of water to those in need. This is a cause for humanity.
I want to give people life.
800 million people are living without clean drinking water on our planet. Some walk miles every day to get to the nearest source: a stagnant, parasite-infested stream or pond.
My mission is to give clean water for Ramadan this year. 100% of every dollar I raise will go directly to water projects. And when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us GPS coordinates, photos and other details about the communities we've helped. Please join me by donating.
Keep in mind that "Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve".(Al-Quran, 2:274)
