As some of you know I'm not a huge fan of the overhyped gift-giving season so this year I decided to start a fundraiser for CHARITY: WATER. I put $500 as my goal but I think we can go way beyond that.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects (hard to believe but I researched and 'tis true), and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

So - mom, dad, bro, Sarah.... - all of you who are reading this and were going to "get me something little" - Don't! I'm good. I don't need anything. Seriously, even the $10 bottle of wine you were going to bring over - Don't! Please donate here. If you don't really even know me ... well then ... donate anyway because it feels good to be kind :-)

And if you're going to copy my style, I'd be flattered. Start your own campaign - whatever good cause you choose (but do some research about how much actually gets donated) and I'd be more than happy to donate to your fundraiser.

Let's start a philanthropic movement! Who needs another sweater or Starbux gift card? Seriously. Please donate instead :-)
