My birthday is almost here. I always look forward to this time of year and count down the days, but this year I'm even more excited. Instead of my birthday centering around me, I'll be giving all the money that is usually spent on me to fund a clean water project in a developing country. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for the money that would usually be spent on presents for me to go to my water project. Every dollar of the money raised will directly fund a clean water project in a developing country. Even better, charity: water will show me exactly which project I funded once it's been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means I'll know the location and name of the community I helped.
