Family is super important to me. My birth family in Ethiopia suffered because of the dirty water we had to drink. I actually lost my little brother because of that water. It just isn't right and it doesn't have to be that way.
You know the good news? Together, we can do something about it. I've been raising money for clean water since I was adopted and came to the U.S. at the age of 4 1/2. It's been so cool to celebrate my birthday by giving it away. I started with my 5th birthday, and this year it's a big one - I'm turning 16!
I want to provide 16 families of five clean drinking water - one family for each year of my life. I'm lucky to be here considering the water I drank when I was little. And no better way to celebrate that than by helping 16 families get a chance at a healthier and happier future.
To give one family of five clean drinking water costs $200. To give one person in that family clean drinking water costs $40. Would you consider joining me to help make a difference for these 16 families?
