On my first 2 campaigns for Charity Water, I donated my Birthday to do a good deed. I have now found that I carry a personal attachment and a passion for the cause. I also carry an overwhelming appreciation for those who donate and value my cause.

This year like the last two years I am celebrating my Birthday by giving the neediest and unfortunate clean water. Although I do not receive something tangible for the gift you give, I do receive something much more valuable and priceless. It is an overwhelming feeling for me to know that my Birthday this year, as well as the last two years, has helped make a difference in another's life or lives. (PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW) To know that just for being born I have people who care about me and my cause enough to give a gift of charity. For me, that alone brings me pure bliss and joy. It gives me goosebumps when I see how much my Birthdays have raised in the past.

Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. The worst part is the water they collect can make them really sick. We can all actually do something about it. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.

The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
