It's just water we might think. Water is the most vital chemical substance extremely essential for survival. Our body weight alone is made up of about 65% water! Many people live their lives and end up forgetting about the importance of water, and how it is in just about everything we take in: from our early morning cups of coffee to our late night snack beverages. Now, think about how much water we waste as we carry on our lives daily? From long showers and left open faucets in our cleanings, to water in pools in the accomplishment of our satisfaction. Did you know that about 1.1 billion people in the world do not have access to clean water? That is about 1 in 7 that does not have access to the most simple and basic of human needs. Imagine walking miles under striking hot sun to access dirty polluted water to walk back carrying 50 pound water buckets just to be able to have some type of water to drink. How about digging in the dirt with the hope of finding water, be it clean or not, just to be able to survive and provide for your family? That is what billions of families are going through today, and as I have called my attention to this matter, I would like to call yours: It is time that us who are abundantly blessed to be able to use clean water anyway we want to reach out for these lives...
