‎Hey everyone! A lot of people have been asking us about wedding registry/gifts that we may want for our wedding, and we are amazingly blessed by the generosity you have all shown us. After talking and praying, we realized that we already have more than most people do in the world. In fact, over 800 million people do not even have access to clean drinking water today.

As we've encountered the Lord's heart, and as we have painfully wrestled through (and are still) what it means to actually live as followers of this peace-driven love-filled Jesus- we have decided we would rather have those who are interested in giving to us- instead donate to help build a well for a village in Ethiopia.

We're starting to gain a deeper understanding of why generosity is such a big part of living like people who actually LOVE. We are also witnessing a huge culture of people who desperately want the same thing: to see the loving heart of God played out in flesh and bones, hands and feet, mouths and minds.

On May 4, 2013- We are joining our lives together. One of the first decisions we've made as a couple is to opt out of the traditional wedding registry.
Our goal is to reach $10,000 by April 16, 2013. That's just two weeks before our wedding date.
With this $10,000, together, we will be able to fund a project that will provide clean drinking water to 500 people in Ethiopia. This seems more in tune with Christ's heart to us, and would be honored if you would join us in giving. 100% of your donation will go towards the well.
