My name is Victoria, and this year is my golden birthday. Don't know what a golden birthday is? It's the birthday in which you turn the age of the date you were born on! I am turning 18 years old, and I was born on the 18th of November. So, for this special occasion, I thought, what better way to celebrate than by giving to those in need?

I was introduced to charity: water a couple of years ago through watching a plethora of YouTube videos and happening to come across this organization. I was immediately inspired by their willingness and effort they put in to fixing the problem of unsanitary drinking water in third world countries. Since that point I've always wanted to create a campaign on my own and do my best to raise money to bring clean water to those who need it most! Watching others do good is contagious, and I want to be a part of the chain reaction with your help of course.

Many people around the world don’t have the luxury of drinking clean water whenever they please, or even at all. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. Thank you for your donation! Water changes everything.
