Can you imagine your life without clean water? You wouldn't be able to just walk to the fridge to get a nice cold glass of water, only 20 feet away from your bedroom. You wouldn't be able to bathe often or wash your clothes regularly. You'd have to limit everything you do...every day.
So this is why I decided to give my birthday to someone else, someone who needs water far more than I need a new pair of shorts. Giving to help someone else live a better, healthier, happier life is a much more wonderful gift than anything else. (In giving, there is more happiness than recieving).
There are currently 1 BILLION people on this earth who are living without clean water. A simple $20 can change one life...What if it was your life? Now, put yourself in their shoes for just a minute and imagine a life without clean water. Give a little bit. Every cent counts.
