My birthday is almost here. There is much that I've learned and lost and taken for granted in almost 21 years, and last year I learned a shocking truth; millions of people every year lack access to clean water. Millions of children don't live to see their fifth birthday due to this ugly truth. We use water daily for many uses, and admittedly, we waste much of it as well while many other men, women and children never see a clean glass of water in their lives.

Last year I made a decision to take a stand for changes that I wanted to see in the world. I gave up my birthday for charity:water and y'all helped me raise about $550. That money was donated to large scale spring protection systems in needy villages in Rwanda! That was an excellent campaign, and I'm so honored by all of you standing with me in my goal. And this year, I'm at it again. This year, 100% of your donations will fund household tap-water sustems in Indian villages!

This year, since I'm turning 21, I ask that you give $21.00 to my overall goal of $1,000. But don't feel obligated or limited! You can give whatever you feel comfortable with giving, whether it be more or less than $21.00. Every penny counts! $550.00 was a heck of a campaign last year, but what do you say we double that this year? Let's be part of something beautiful in the lives of those who need grace.

You don't have to donate on October 15th! My campaign is open for donations from now all the way until December 31st. Take your time! And once again, 100% of your funds go to a great cause, no profit!
