Our purpose!
Imagine having no access to clean water. No water for drinking, cooking or for taking shower. Can you even imagine that? Did you know that 785 million people in the world, or one in ten people on Earth, don't have access to clean water? That’s twice the population of the United States of America.These people spend hours each day searching for water, only to find water that is dirty and full of diseases like typhoid and cholera. Face it, life without water is unimaginable; but to some people that’s how their daily life is. You might be asking, “But only 3% of all earth’s water is drinkable, so how could we help these people ?” Well, there is actually a way to filter nasty water, and make it drinkable.
Charity: Water uses a BioSand Filter to generate clean water from unclean water, and we partner up with the community to make sure it is maintained.
Why we need to fundraise: It is pretty expensive to obtain filters to create clean water! Through tutoring kids from grades 1-4, we can fundraise money and donate to give kids and adults access to clean water!

Thank you all so much for your donations! Yesterday, we managed to hit our goal of $225, which provides water to about 5 people! Now, 8 people around the world, will receive clean water for a year... :) THANK YOU!
