March 10, is my next birthday.

Yes, that's right! I am already seeing more of thirty! I remember when 30 sounded so old. And to some, it is.

I found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. Why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.

And here I am, at 31 complaining of having to carry clean, safe water home from the supermarket.

I'm asking everyone I know to join me in raising enough money to provide safe drinking water to 31 people. And every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months).

Isn't that exciting!!!! That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped! I am so excited!
