No doubt you would have been led here by my Facebook event. Just in case there were any doubts - it is indeed my 21st coming up on the 28th of July.

Also, just to clear up any confusion - I won't be throwing any parties per se, due to a severe lack of funds. But from my perspective, that is relatively trivial compared to the severe lack of clean drinking water for the less fortunate in some of the less developed countries.

So if you're already here, visiting this page, you're only one short click away from helping me reach my target, and assisting this worthy cause. A 100% of the money goes towards the cause (i.e. not administrative, miscellaneous costs). The video on the right should more than sufficiently explain the cause and provide inspiration.

The default giving amount is USD21 (which actually works out to around AUD20, and may be even less, given America's apparent inability to raise its debt ceiling).

I would just like to take this opportunity, while you're reading, to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you, the reader. Apart from making a difference in the lives of some of the less fortunate, what you've also done is help make my 21st an unforgettable one - knowing that my birthday could make a difference in other people's lives is an immense feeling, and knowing that you support my cause inspires and reminds me of the inherent compassion that characterises us as human beings.
