Although my birthday has come and gone and what a whirl wind this adventure has been! So excited that my goal of $500.00 dollars has been reached! Awesome I say! To know that someone/s in this world will receive proper / clean water is fantastic. What a wonderful gift it is for them!

Some of you were and are still a bit doubtful in donating to this charity and are not sure what it's all about – perhaps even worried that your funds will not be utilized as intended to be with your donations - all I can say is that with this charity - regarding birthdays especially - 100% of every dollar you have donated to my birthday campaign will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries. Plus you get a tax receipt in your name no matter how much you donate even if you donated anonymously!

Charity: water funds their operating costs separately through a group of private donors, so 100% of all public donations (you) will go directly to people in need! I love this idea!

And I will also mention this, even for those that didn't donate, maybe this is something you would like to consider for your next birthday or even give up something that really matters to you! So many are giving up their presents/gifts for this charity - young children giving up their birthdays, couples that are about to get married and already have everything, they too ask their love ones to donate to their campaign instead of receiving gifts! What a great example they all are!

As of today, this charity is now closed. I wish to thank immensely, to all those that opened their hearts for my birthday campaign. It truly means the world to me (you have no idea how much). And thanks to this organization as well - for providing us a great cause and for all their help too. This will certainly change lives! It has changed mine in so many levels!
