Imagine being lost in a desert for a whole day and not having any hope of having clean water. What if that was for your entire life?? A life filled with hopelessness, anguish and constant thirst. Having to drink from a diseased river, just so you wouldn’t die of thirst. It brings tears to my heart to think of such things, Especially when you apply it to children.

Every day, approximately 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world
