About charity: water
charity: water is a nonprofit organization bringing clean and safe water to people around the world. We work with local partners to implement sustainable, community-owned water projects and prove each one with photos and GPS coordinates.
A private group of philanthropists cover our operating costs so that 100% of all public donations can directly fund clean water projects.

Woke up last night and had to pee. As I rolled out of bed the only thought i had was, "I'm so thankful for running water." I didn't have to go a long ways or pee in the dirt. I have a bathroom. I didn't feel shame, just gratitude!! And excitement to give. I wanted to give to Charity:Water. I get to make a difference!
