About charity: water
charity: water is a nonprofit organization bringing clean and safe water to people around the world. We work with local partners to implement sustainable, community-owned water projects and prove each one with photos and GPS coordinates.
A private group of philanthropists cover our operating costs so that 100% of all public donations can directly fund clean water projects.

Thanks again to everyone that donated! I completed 38 miles on September 8, which fell short of my goal of 50 miles, but it was still quite a hike. I'm pleased that we are able to help people get clean water.
