Why Water?

Because focusing on changing one thing can change everything.

🌍 1 in 10 people around the world still lack access to clean water.

💧 Every day, women and girls spend 200 million hours collecting water. In 8 out of 10 households without water access at home, it's the women and girls who carry this burden.

This daily struggle keeps girls out of school and women from reaching their full potential. But clean water changes that. It means education, safety, health, and opportunity.

For me, education and women’s rights are two causes I care deeply about. That’s why I’ve decided to take on a personal challenge in support of a global one.

This September, I’ll be running the Berlin Marathon to help raise funds for charity: water, an organisation dedicated to ending the water crisis in our lifetime.

Let me be honest — this isn’t easy for me. It’s going to take a lot of grit and 5am training runs to cross that finish line. But I’m doing it because I believe in the power of clean water to change lives.

Every £30 raised gives one person clean water for life.
And most importantly, 100% of your donation goes straight to the field.
