In stead of donating the hair I cut off for this campaign, I sold it online. Not only can this finance even more clean water for those who need it the most, but the hair has been purchased by an organization making wigs for kids who have lost hair due to bruns or chemotherapy. Thank you again to everyone who was a part of this! You are amazing!

When I started this campaign I was a little uncertain if I should aim at 30.000 NOK, it seemed a little too ambitious. 3.500 USD for clean water projects. On the 11th, with just one day to go of this campaign, we had reached an astounding 1.326 USD together, changing so many lives and communities. When Lillian then told me she wanted Halogen to raise this to the 3000 USD mark I was flabbergasted. After doing a little research online, it seems quite possible that cutting and selling my hair might get us the final distance to the original goal. I just have to try and get as good a price as possible in the strange market place of human hair. I have extended the end date of the campaign so we can see the final sum in total. So: we are doing this. Goodbye 7-8 years of luscious locks! There will be photos. There might be an itty bitty tear. There will definitely be clean water for someone who needs it!
