The All Saints Aqua Squad.

Clean Water for all.

Via Derriqmaq:

I've chosen to create the All Saints Aqua Squad to support this Charity:Water because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach our goal. I've included information about charity: water below.

charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Together we've funded more than 56,000 water projects in 29 developing countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 11.4 million people.

Nearly 785 million people in our world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.

The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. And with the help of 1,000,000+ donors and individual fundraisers, we're forming a strong force against the water crisis. Join us: http://cwtr.org/2tplpJs

100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit. And if you decide to give, you can choose who can see that you donated or donate privately.

Clean water changes everything
In communities without access to clean water, women and girls spend hours everyday collecting dirty water. Not only does the walk for water keep children out of school and prevent women from earning an income, the water often carries diseases that make everyone sick.
When a community gets access to clean water, women and girls get their lives back. They start businesses, improve their homes, and take charge of their own futures.

Impact in progress

More work is underway in Sierra Leone. Hang tight — it takes about 21 months to build, implement, and then fully report back on a water project. Learn more.
