Did you know that almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water? Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn't have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Last year, for my 21st birthday, we raised over $1,100 to help bring clean drinking water to people who don't have any. I was amazed that we surpassed my goal. This year, I want to DOUBLE that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. If that's too much, will you simply buy me a drink? $5 buys me a strawberry pina coloda; $10 and you've treated me and yourself. BUT what's even cooler is that your money will go so much further by donating to my campaign.

100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign will DIRECTLY fund clean water projects in developing countries. And, in about 18 months, charity:water will show exactly where our money went with pictures and names of the communities we helped!
