21st birthdays are all about drinking, right? So celebrate my 21st with me and buy me a drink...but not just any drink.
Did you know that almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water? Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn't have to be that way. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.
I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. If that's too much, will you simply buy me a drink? $5 is the same as buying me a pina colada; $10 and you've treated me and yourself. BUT what's even cooler is that your money will go so much further by donating to my campaign.
Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
Help me reach my goal. Please donate to my birthday campaign! Buy me a drink ;)
