This year I'm celebrating my birthday differently. My life is overflowing with blessings; I do not need anything. So instead, I am asking you to support me in helping others.

According to the United Nations, four of every 10 people in the world do not have clean water to drink, and 4,000 children die every day from diseases caused by drinking filthy water. On any given day, nearly half the population of the developing world is suffering from waterborne diseases associated with inadequate water and sanitation services. There are four billion cases of diarrhea disease per year, resulting in nearly two million deaths, 90% of which are in children under the age of five." Together we can help.

I love charity:water. They use 100% of the donations to directly fund water projects around the world. When the projects are complete, charity:water sends photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
