Over 600 million people around the world do not have access to clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation. It's 2016. I think that's unacceptable.

We have come too far as a global community and as a species to allow millions of our brothers and sisters to suffer in this epidemic. So what can be done?

Thankfully, there are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. Beyond discovering new technologies, updating infrastructure and eliminating corrupt governments and governance practices that may lead to ineffective use of resources and partnerships and then only heightens the problems we're dealing with, what's needed now is to gather the resources that make clean water a reality.

Enter charity:water.

With logistics and platform support from charity:water, I'm donating my money to help ensure that clean water is accessible to EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, AND EVERY DAY. Because that's how much I care about the well-being of all people. I believe in the strength and healing power of water. This work must be done. Period.

My personal goal is $100 and that will help bring clean water to 16 people. Lives will change.
