Mission Statement

On September 29th, 2012 I broke a world record by riding my bicycle on one wheel for 13.6 miles without stopping. I rode 54 laps around a track and it took me just 51 minutes and 27 seconds. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, and as my arm fell asleep with 10 laps to go I thought of the kids carrying buckets of water for miles back to their homes and how tired they must be of that reality every day.

Every week, millions of women and their children walk more than 14 miles just to get water for their families. Most of this water is contaminated, but it's the only water they have. They take the chance of contracting deadly diarrheal diseases with every sip. There's nothing they can do to change this.

So, what can I do?

My mission is to raise $10,000 for clean water. I want every pedal to matter. I'm asking for you to dig a little deeper, give up an hours pay for clean water. Even the smallest donations can help me achieve my goal.

The best part: 100% of everything we raise will go straight to building water projects in the field. Then, when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us just where they are and who they're helping (with GPS coordinates, photos and other details). We'll be able to see the communities we've impacted.

I hope you'll join me in helping now.

"Enjoy the show? Support the flow."

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
