GUYS,
Im turning 28 this year and for my 28th birthday i wanna do something that is worthwhile. See, when we celebrate our birthdays, its always about us. We are the center of attention every time our birthday comes.
How about changing the usual? How about focusing our attention and give gifts to others instead of us having all the attention and receiving gifts for our birthdays? In all my 28 years of life here on earth, I can say that I have always been blessed by the LORD. I think that it's about time that I share my blessings to our less fortunate brothers around the world who desperately need all the help that we can give. As a christian, i say that "we are blessed to be a blessing".

Water is essential to life. Needless to say, we take advantage of the fact that we can have clean water easily at our own disposal, but millions and millions of people around the world doesn't have access to a clean and safe drinking water. Some have access to water but still they have to walk for several miles just to avail themselves of water that are not even safe to drink. Many contract deadly diseases and die from water that is suppose to give life. This is a sad reality, and this unfortunate situation will just carry on unless we do something.

So this year, I am giving my birthday up. My birthday wish is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year.

Since it's my 28th birthday, you can give $0.28, $2.8, $28.0, or any other amount that your heart decides to give. Understand that there are no small or big gifts. Your generosity and concern is far more important than the amount you give.
