Let's face it...if you are reading this, you probably don't worry about clean water.
However, around the world, nearly 700 million men, women and children need access to safe, clean water. That's nearly 1 in 10 people! This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.
We’ve created our own fundraisers through Charity: Water because we believe safe water is necessary for life. We feel so strongly that we are donating all of the proceeds from Second Chance activities and events to provide clean water through Charity: Water.
Periodically, depending on the campaign, we contribute all funds to Charity: Water, which provides aid to water projects all over the world. You will even be able to track the project(s) that you have supported.
Our past campaigns in Second Life have collected USD$650 plus L$71,925 (a total of $942). All of these funds were donated to water projects in Cambodia, Kenya, Ethiopia and Malawi. Campaign updates and project progress can be found on this website or in-world at Second Chance:

We know there are a lot of worthy charities out there, but the water crisis is something we can help solve. We hope you agree and show your support by buying items at Second Chance, giving whatever items or amount you can to support our efforts, and telling others about the water crisis.
For every $20 (or L$5,000) that we raise, Charity: Water can give someone access to safe water for years to come. Past contributions have funded over 17,500 projects that impact more than 5 million people in 24 countries.
Together, we can change lives through something as basic as clean water.
