For the past few years I have been so happy to be a part of charity:water, where you give up the birthday gifts and help children and families around the world get clean and safe drinking water. My family has supported me each year and this year I've decided to make my campaign public.
As my beautiful mother is turning 21 (again) and as I will be celebrating my 20th birthday (in August), we have decided to create a campaign together.
Instead of receiving gifts, I am asking my family and friends to help make our campaign successful. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink, but any amount helps.
The best part is that 100% of the money that is raised will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send me photos and GPS coordinates so I can see the impact that the donations have made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
