At the start of fall quarter, I began a campaign with two friends that changed my world. After a chaotic, wild few years, I decided to surrender my partying life to a cause i truly believed in. In our first campaign, what we believed was a stretch to raise $900 turned into nearly $1700. Blown away and completely moved, I was proud of our accomplishments and ready to return to my old life.

That didn't last long.

Here I am, at the start of another quarter, ready to do this again. Due to financial reasons, I can't quite donate as much as I did before. At first, I thought that meant this wasn't worth doing again. I don't agree with that anymore. I still believe in sacrificing my own desires to hopefully get peoples attention and bring clean water to people that need it more than I need a beer.

I encourage and challenge you to sacrifice something indulging to bring something thats necessary to people who need it. Coffee, fast food, dinner dates, or even if it is a weekend of partying, even just $20 can give someone clean drinking water for 20 years.

I hope you decide to join me again for another fulfilling quarter of life changing sacrifice.
