On September 18th, I'll be celebrating another birthday. I'm not usually excited about getting older, but this year I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. Are you aware that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water? Well, we can help change that without even leaving the couch.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know - however, even $2 would go a long way. This year, the focus of the September Campaign is on India. The eastern state of Orissa, to be specific. With your help, we can change lives in 100 villages. That's a lot of people! When the project is completed, in roughly 18 months, charity: water will send out GPS coordinates and photographs so that we can see what our money did with our eyes. How exciting is that?
