Altruism is the principle and moral practice of concern for the happiness of other human beings, resulting in a quality of life both material and spiritual.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Every day, education is restricted to just but a few children in nations like Zimbabwe - a country I had the delight of visiting this past summer.
After learning the real meaning of "necessity" and "privilege", it is impossible for me to continue living in the space I do knowing that for the amount yearly spent on Netflix, I can have an impact that gifts a life of dignity to many deserving human beings.
