- 663 million people in the world live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide.

- Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.

- 43% of those deaths are children under 5 years old.

We have no idea what it's like to be thirsty -- even the water in our toilets is clean! But many people around the world don’t have that luxury.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. This is simply not ok when there are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I created this fundraising campaign to support charity: water in building these solutions and help make the world a healthier place to live in.
