Its the 9th of March as I write this which means it is exactly one month until I have a birthday and yes, turn 30.

In my 30 years of life so far I've been very lucky to have picked up a lot of friends along the way so I thought I'd see what we could do together to make a little difference in someone else's (or in fact many someone else's) world to celebrate my birthday.

Water is essential for life we all know it, we learnt it at school so it must be true. There's lots of wonderful people doing wonderful things all over the world and I wish I could give to all of them, but I guess I chose this avenue because its the bottom line, giving people life so they may live it. It's such a practical way to show God's love to those who need it and deserve it.

Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink which I think is incredible. And 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and show us the location so we can see the impact we made. It would make me really happy if me having to turn 30 could benefit others in a wonderful way!
