It's that time of year again. I"m rounding another birthday month and turning 1 year older. Which also means its time to start another campaign with my favorite nonprofit.
But this year is my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY! Which means I'm turning 27 on May 27th!
So how do we celebrate? By doing what I enjoy doing, which is helping others. Consider a gift in exchange for a Facebook post or an email or a birthday card. Let's help kids have access to clean, safe drinking water. Not that I don't love hearing from everyone on my big day, but why not share the spotlight with someone who could really use it?
I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
