785 million people worldwide live without clean water and 2 billion people use drinking water sources that are contaminated with faeces.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
Over the next 150 days I am aiming to run 785 km and raise 785 pounds to help charity: water to build solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters to help communities around the world access clean water.
Any amount that you can donate will help, as will sharing to help raise awareness.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
