Why Charity: Water ??
Transparency and traceability were the key criteria on my quest on finding a charity to support during my half marathon training.

After connecting directly with those involved with charities first-hand, I found a common ground: lack of data from donation to deployment as based on faith, trust and word of mouth.

Charity: Water tackled this issue early on and to defeat the disbelief many (including myself) have on charities they put transparency and traceability at the core of their mission.

How?
➡ Photos and GPS coordinates for every single Charity: Water project
➡ Sensors on wells
➡ Live updates on water projects development on website
➡ Stories of how lives were changed

I also chose them as 100% of the money donated will be used to build clean water projects, and when they are completed, Charity: Water will share photos and GPS coordinates so you can see and feel even more connected with the exact community you helped.
