1 in 8 people in the world do not have access to clean water. We are going to change that!

On March 29th, 250+ people are going to form their own Village at Piedmont Park. Everyone will walk 2.5 miles with empty water containers, they will then fill up their water containers and walk another 2.5 miles. THey are doing this to simulate what hundreds of million of women and children have to do everyday. The hope is that through simulating what they do once, we can make it where thousands of women and children never have to do it again!

Sounds rough, right? Well, imagine doing it without clean water.

Every week, millions of women and their children walk more than 14 miles just to get water for their families. Most of this water is contaminated, but it's the only water they have. They take the chance of contracting deadly diarrhea diseases with every sip. There's nothing they can do to change this.

Our mission is to raise $100,000 for water. We want every step to matter. In order to attain this goal, we are asking that every participant to raise $400+. They will do this by asking their friends and family to walk alongside them by making a donation to our campaign.

The best part: 100% of everything we raise will go straight to building water projects in the field. Then, when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us just where they are and who they're helping (with GPS coordinates, photos and other details). We'll be able to see the communities we've impacted.
