Every year most of you know, that I choose to do a specific event in order to help raise awareness and money for one of my favorite non-profit organizations, charity:water.

The event that I have chosen to participate in this year, is the OUC Orlando Half-Marathon in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

I'm truly humbled by what charity:water is doing around the world, and I'm humbled and honored to join them in their efforts to help bring clean water to those in need!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink and access to unlimited clean water - in fact, even the water in our toilets is clean!

But so many people around the world don’t have that same luxury of having access to clean water.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. However, it doesn’t have to be this way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that will help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of all of the money from this non-profit is being used to build clean water projects around the world. Then when the water projects are complete, charity: water will actually send out photos and GPS coordinates so that ever donor can all see the exact community that we helped through this fundraising campaign.
