Every year I always compete in one of my races, to help raise money for one of my favorite non-profits, Charity Water. This year I'll be competing in the OUC Half Marathon that takes place on December 7, 2019, in Orlando, Florida, and I'll be running in this race to help raise money for Charity Water.
Charity Water is doing AMAZING work around the globe to help end the clean water crisis. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We all have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! However, many people around the world do not have this same luxury.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who is willing to help me.

100% of the money from all Charity Water campaigns is used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send you photos and the GPS coordinates so that we can see the exact community we helped.
